Stencil art workshops are a great way to engage youth and young students from the age of 10 in producing their own original artwork and for them to learn about the technique of stencilling. Stencil workshops can be part of the school's annual curriculum or can be held as part of a community event, youth week or as a stand-alone event.

PinXit has been providing workshops for a number of years for councils, schools, youth institutions and other events. These include live demonstrations, hands-on workshops and master classes.

All our workshops are run by experienced and established artists. We offer workshops for six or more participants. To make your job easier, we will book the artists, provide all required materials and create an environment which is fun and safe to work in, with guaranteed outcomes. Every workshop will provide an introduction into the tools used for stencilling, various spray paints and safety equipment.

On your request PinXit can also provide a presentation on the history of street and stencil art. It will trace street art from its origins in New York and Philadelphia to the pioneers of stencil art in London and Paris and modern trends and street art forms. It will give an overview about different styles and techniques showcasing the work of some leading artists in Australia and from around the world.
